#1 Post by LC Cnd » Tue May 08, 2018 1:27 pm

Has anyone seen one of these? Appearently out for Spring 2018 but Alpine specific - hmm. Long story short suspect pricey but worth protecting a spleen etc.

Just got a quote back: "They will run $1679.95 after tax but my supplier isn't expecting them in until august 17th approx."

My missus bought a fluoro waist coat type jacket, armed with a CO2 cylinder and steel cable lanyard that attaches itself to the bike

If you fall off the pull on the lanyard activates the CO2 and the thing inflates in a fraction of a second

It cost about $300 AUD at the time from memory

She's never used it, as the lanyard is kinda bulky and would scratch the paint work as it flaps around whilst riding

Secondly, if you forget you are attached when dismounting the result is looking like a fluoro Michelin man or woman
