Just wondering...
Other forums I've been on have had some form or other of "likes". If you appreciated someones post you could give them a like. I always thought it was kind of a cool way to show support without having to post a full paragraph. And if you were the poster, you could see whether a bunch of people liked it or nobody did. A feedback kind of thing. Is there something like that here and I missed it?

I don't like Facebook likes or Facebook either. I canceled my account right after I was talked into opening it.

It would be helpful for me.
Not really in terms of "like" or "dislike". I think of it as "agree" or "disagree".
On other forums, I get more feedback with this tool.
I usually post my ideas before getting started. Posted written responses are the most helpful, but often, I can tell right away if my idea is good or not, by the number of, or lack of, "high-fives".
Also, it saves site resources. Often, there's not much to say, except "nice job"! Then 15 members post "nice job", instead of just clicking the icon.
If you're one of the smarter guys on the site, you probably wouldn't find this useful.

Like a lot of you, I like to get into the more technical side of working on and modifying my project vehicles. That would be all of my vehicles! The likes or some kind of agree button lets me see if my goofy ideas have any interest for people or if I'm just wasting everyone's time, including my own, that I could be wasting working on the bike.

That's my learning curve.
But, a bunch of "thumbs down" could have let me know I was heading down the road to failure.

This forum is so different. Many of us have met from far away places. It's that good. Like/dislike buttons are for other forums, not this one. Most of us prefer to comment or offer opinions, without attacking anyone.
