Was that a car show you were at or something else?

That's pretty funny Charlie! Thanks for posting that. :smt023

That is at the first Sunday of every month cars and coffee in Danville. When you see me dressed like that I trailered the bike there.

I haven't been to one in several months because it keeps getting rained out. :smt010 No more drought here, at least for this year.

How do I get to these 2 stroke Facebook pages? :smt017

Maybe I will break down and sign up. :smt012 Forums are the extent of my social media. :smt045

New tires were in order for the 900 lb.beast. I may have already said but the old tires were 14 years old. Scary riding on them.

Stopped here for pics and there was traffic control??? I asked the lady WTF was up? :smt017

They were filming a commercial for Intel.

After that we rode out to Carnegie and yet again witnessed another down rider.

When I first saw this one I initially thought it was a bicyclist. But not. A lone rider dumped his Indian. It WAS a beautiful thing. One year old kind of a sportster look alike lying flat on its side. The forks were completely snapped off of the frame. First things first we stopped to check the riders condition and see if he needed help. Help was already on the way. And amazingly the guy had not a scratch on him. No concussion or dizziness even though his helmet was scraped up bad. He was amazingly lucky. He missed a turn, went off pavement (he says at about 60mph), hit a really soft spot with a berm, and ended up about 20 feet from there. A little more to the right and he would have been in barb wire. A little left and it would not have been a soft landing. Amazing. :smt045

What a day Ken. Perfect weather and a great turnout. How was the commute home. I just split traffic. Didn't take too long.

It was great seeing you there Paul! I am glad you made it.

What a great event.

The commute home was like something out of the fucking twilight zone. It was bad enough to seriously consider not coming here next year. 3 1/2 hours. I don't know WTF happened but it sucked. Once we got onto 92 it started flowing and it was happy days. But damn, these people should all stay home. Last year it was bad getting out of the event then a few minutes on 1 and it cleared up.

I think the gem that is Half Moon Bay has been found out by too many.

BTW, let me know if you got the gamma guys name/phone number. I may want to pay him a visit. He is right here in Pleasanton.

Found this nice photo of my son and I on his web page

Chesbro and Uvas. You are right in my Dad's backyard. I used to fish those before school!!! The Bro. I went to that show once. Traffic outbound was a nightmare. My Dad used to bring equipment to show there too and he doesn't anymore because of the poor exit plan going outbound. Thanks for the pix though.

Nice pics, sounds like a good day out. How far did you actually travel in the 3 1/2 hour drive home?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. :smt023

Russ, total miles is about 55. Normal driving time would be about an hour and a half. But normal isn't normal anymore. Nope. :smt042

It took nearly 2 hours to go less than 11 miles. :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

Welcome to Bay Area traffic. Even on weekends. :smt021
