Hi again.

#1 Post by hondaror » Fri Mar 03, 2023 1:25 am

I’m back, after a long absence.
It’s been more than a couple of years.

I got married 3 years ago, and bought a second house last summer with my wonderful wife and the good news is that I have some space to work.

Yesterday morning, I picked up about 500lbs of RZ350 parts. I still have 12 RZs. Now with the space I’ll be able to catalogue parts and assemble projects to sell off. Now I bet you’re paying attention. Lol

I’ll try to log in on a regular basis. It’s going to take me a while to catch up and get acquainted again.
Update on me. I’m wrenching for one of the best Ducati service centres in Canada. I currently have a 749 which I will be selling, a 749 with a 999 power plant and an ST2. My RZs are waiting for me. It’s time to get back at them.

Hi Rory. Nice to see you back (again). I'm finishing up one now (click on the link in my signature) and have several more lined up. Fun stuff. Ken

Hey Ken, I have been watching your garage posts. It was 6 years ago now that I dropped by your place. Time flies. I have been so busy and so have you. Lol.

Thanks. I forget names, it’s been about 5 years. It will take a while.

Can anyone tell me or direct me to a thread that can instruct me how to post pics from my phone?
Last pics I posted were from my computer, now long gone.

Thanks Evans!
You’ll see a lot more of me. I’m on a mission. Been waiting a while for this.
I’m still trying to figure out how to post pics. Nothing is working for me on my phone, yet.

Hi Rory,

Welcome back. I have not figured out how to upload from the phone - but I have had success with using https://imgur.com/ to post pictures to this forum.

It's only one at a time but does work pretty well. See details in pic...

Hey Wade, thank you.
Not working with AirTECH anymore. I sent them full bodywork for an F2 to copy, including tank. There are key components that are in high demand: tank, tail centre section and upper fairing which is shared by the RZ500. The owner, Kent, said to me that he does not have the stuff that I sent to him. “It was sent back”. I never was informed it was coming, nor did I receive it. I’ve lost my shipping fees which was closer to $500 than not, and of course the full bodywork set for one of my bikes. Zero compensation. A full set of bodywork for an RZ350 is north of $2,500 Canadian from AirTECH, and the loss of my original set. You know how expensive that is.
I was dealing with Walter who confirmed receiving it all, and I believe AirTECH now mysteriously offers the reproduction RZ500 upper. Walter left AirTECH shortly after I sent the goods.
Kent told me that he had decided not to make the F2 bodywork and tank, which was news to me.
I did talk to another guy there and wanted to order 5 F2 gas tanks, lined. They won’t answer my calls. I’m disappointed to say the least. Kent had told me I’d receive a set of bodywork as a fee for loaning him the bodywork. I’m still waiting. Crickets.
I love their products, but I’m extremely disappointed with them. I have always spoken highly of them and continue to send them business. I am in their records as Grumpy Lui Racing. I wish that they’d man up and and complete the business transaction that we arranged. I’d like my bodywork back as well as the compensation set. I’d still like to order 5 tanks. It would be nice if Kent or his employees saw this and would get in touch with me to finish the deal that we had agreed on.
I am Facebook friends with Kent.

Yeah, it hurts. I’m not wealthy, but I’ll keep trying to deal with them. There are a lot of miles between us, so that does not make it any easier.
