Wow... looks like it was an awesome event. Did I miss it or is this an annual event?

EDIT - guess I wasn't paying attention... thread title: Annual SFRC 2T Ride Pics

Is this held at the same time each year?

Hi Tom, This is an annual event. The dates can and do change though (best to check website or ask a member). I am not a member, but it would probably be a good idea to check out their website and 2StrokeWorld.com in the event section. <---where i got the heads up. I think the 12th year for the 2 stroke ride in general and the 10th anniversary of the Sang Froid Riding Club (SFRC). You can google them to find their website. It is a lot of fun and this year after the ride they ended up at the Sandy Hut in Portland, OR w/ live music. Definitely a fun event and they are good people. I think Jim (has a TDR250 and posted notice on 2strokeworld.com) ONLY put it up there to keep the crowd small and not overload that track. We had to share track time w/ the karts.

It was way cool for them to pay about 1/2 the cost of track time for the people that did show up for the ride.

if i wasn't so out of shape i could have had to (2) sessions of 15 minutes each for only 20 bucks. what a blast! :smt005

NOTE: Next year, I'll try to give the members here a heads up (ahead of time!!) on the next ride. They handed out free little bottles of valvoline two stroke oil w/ their own label of course! to anyone that wanted, had T-shirts for sale and their routes can be interesting! (maps are also handed out to everyone).

all manner of bikes are welcome...but i prefer strokers myself!!

I think the Yamaha with higher pipes and knobbies may be a Big Bear Scrambler 305? I'd guess 1967-69 vintage- someone please correct me if I'm off here... :smt002
