I got my bike running again and the rain stopped falling finally. The sun came out and warmed up to about 60 degrees. So I came home from work and hopped on the bike. Went about 25 miles or so before the sun started setting. It felt great to be back on two wheels again!!
Took a quick photo looking North. That's Mt. St. Helens in the background above the gas tank.

Nice photo Charlie
Your bike
How far away is Mt. Saint Helens? That seems to be a lot of visibility.
About 100 years ago I hiked up that mountain in the snow on a beautiful (rare) sunny Washington day. Twas very memorable.

Re: First ride of the year
I really enjoyed the ride up St Helens as well.
Re: First ride of the year
It's about 125 miles from my house. I've been there a couple of times on some of my other bikes over the years. Very nice ride indeed!!kpke wrote:Nice photo Charlie

I also spent a week camping at Spirit Lake on the mountain when I was in Boy Scouts. That was the summer just before it blew!!
