Let this one rest. I would like to hear of an acceptable resolution on the pipes if it happens. Otherwise we've all had our say on the subject.

The above link basically says the billet heads Roger makes aren't fit for purpose and a lot of disgruntled customers

Dude, I totally get your still scorned as to what you feel happened but but you are becoming a real bummer to listen to year after year, moaning your soured deal with Wicked. It's like being caught in the middle of two friends getting a divorce...lol

One of the people in that thread you linked is the same guy that posts here too, and here.. is what he says there in that thread black n white
Quote "
Roger just sounds like a (typical arrogant yank) who thinks he always knows best and doesn’t listen to anybody.

Typical..huh?..If he really feels that way.. then Fuck Off! As it's blatantly obvious as to where the arrogance is stemming from with a definitive comment like that.

Then the other guy goes on about how many things are breaking on his RZ, then surprise.. he's a problem with coolant leaking..a problem that he cannot even pinpoint, he's only speculating?
The others perhaps there are some issues, but at least it sounds like good faith attempts were made ..? There's too many variables for me to pick sides and drive a knife into someone.

And what are there's responses for people whom are running the Wicked heads with no problems at all, I know several, and one guy rides his RZ in So Cal hot temps, to work several times a week for the past few years? What say he about that?

Hey,I understand your upset..but you've been on this crusade against Wicked for many years now, you had a chance(documented,) to take care if it, you did not. One thing I've read the people whom run Wicked seem to always try to make good, even if there's some grey area.
He was stabbed in the back here by some mean spirited arrogant individuals, some whom had no dog in the fight, I don't blame him for not wanting to contribute to this forum.
I respect Wickeds shop for being one of the very few..very few , whom take the time from an enthusiasts position to develop and create parts for the RZ community, there not really making much money off RZ parts. I think I know personally more people than most of you whom are using many of Wickeds Parts, on RZs and Banshees..seriously how many people do these disgruntled individuals know 1st hand, whom use Wicked parts, some these guys are just eager join a pack of dogs..that's pretty darned pathetic, considering their opinion is based on 2-3 disgruntled individuals..that they don't even know.

There's a pissed off Customer rant about virtually every single motorcycle parts supplier/ builder/tuner you can think of, all you gotta do is Google it.,something will come up. By and large the truly bad ones are gone quickly, But the ones who care are still in business year after year doing their best to make a living helping out fellow enthusiasts., and the fellows whom run Wicked are certainly one them.

I'm not saying your lying, I understand you've had a issue, perhaps truly founded too, but Wicked has always offered to do right.

I can't stop you from your crusade, but I wish you'd stop bringing this up and poisioning the community on this forum.
and just get on with it, I'd prefer to read about all your projects without the lingering revenge drama...The guys whom run the Wicked are just human, just like you and me, were prone to mistakes..but like you and me the been good people and from what I've viewed and read can,try their best to make good.
Hey I'm not perfect.. but you usually get what you give.

Just sayin the Wicked bashing...it's forum buzz kill.

Of course I did, and I'd type for 20 more to stand up and do the right thing, One just cannot sit and watch shit get thrown all over a friend of the community, it's just not right. All but a handful of you here have never even met the owners , of Wicked, bought parts, services nor held parts in your had, let alone been treated to his hospitality, he's held the 2 stroke extravaganza ,sponsored 2 stroke shows and events, attended Laguna Seca with many of us here, willingly spent time on phone and in person. He's not a personal friend, but I do know he's a nice guy ,whom can't defend himself vs internet attacks, I doubt he even visits here, doesn't change the fact he doesn't need to be maligned.

I'm sorry you possibly feel this way, perhaps thats a difference between us ? I would like to think not, daymn...it seems no one wants to be kind nor defend, only sit back and watch the fire spread.

So be it, it's your community.
I can't promise I'll not stand up and vouch for certain folks at certain times, if I feel it's warranted, Character matters to me. Believe me when I say I'd rather not.

He sells bad product and refuses to stand behind it. "My community" deserves to be aware. Bottom line.

Hey, It is what it is, :smt102 You believe wholeheartedly what you want, with zero 1st hand experience... absolutely none.
I just happen to have some, so that's what in basing my judgement upon..that's all :smt102

I've heard and read similar crusades levied against many community vendors such as Spec2,Toomey, Lomas,HVC,Moto Tessario,Trinity,CT racing,Pro X,Weisco, Stan Stephens,Race Tech ,Moto Carrera and many others.
You can't please everyone and sometimes things do go wrong. With luck the long term result will be better for all, we'll just have to see down the line how this comes out in the wash.

"Agree to disagree", on some points I guess is the saying. :smt023

I happen to know a German RZ specialist very well and whenever I meet customers of him they often complain about poor service. And there are also "fanboys" who had everything done at his workshop and say he'd be the greatest of all times.
I tell him every time we meet and he always promises it'll get better.
Despite from that he's a nice and helpful guy and he did a lot for me over the decades we know each other (not only bike related things).
Does that sound familiar and reminds you of people you know?

Ever thought about the possibility that it's not an "agree to disagree" but a "two sides of the coin" thing?
Just keep in mind that it's possible to be nice guy and to disappoint people at the same time.

Originally I had another one in mind where two people were looking at a big number painted on the floor. One saw a 6 the other a 9 and both were right as they were standing opposite each other with the 6/9 in the middle.
Just didn't find it and Google spat out the above ...

Martin, that image is better then the one you could not find!

I don't buy Wicked because the prices are too steep for my cheap ass. My boss has an '85 RZ350 with a Wicked engine in it, so I will comment on this when he gets it going and I know more.

I do know, that, if I shelled out big coin and was disappointed, I would be bad mouthing like crazy. Conversely, if the experience was good, you would never hear the end of my endorsements. It's human nature.

Roger did a complete RZ350 rebuild with upgrades, including a new head for me, he was a pleasure to work with and did everything I asked him to do and he was more than willing to answer any question I had and any problems were addressed and corrected without me even having to ask.
After listening to some of you I can understand why he would not want to help you out, I sure as heck wouldn't !!
Maybe you should think about the way you deal with and talk to people.
