How to test if your fuel cap is venting proper

Here is a simple way to test to eliminate if your fuel cap is the cause of a performance issue. I will be using a 20L jerry can to conduct the test.

The test worked well testing two standard fuel caps in approximately 15 minutes. Use reserve setting to drain. The flow was steady on both tests on 2 full tanks via the right side fuel line.
