Yesterday I changed out this secondary 90° fuel petcock because I thought it had reached its end of life and was leaking.

No such luck. I have a stuck float valve in the left carburetor. From sitting :smt013

Whilst monkeying around with this bike I did the spring trick on the oil supply line. Note how it is starting to get a kink in the before pic.

I think I see some Briggs & Stratton parts there: the valve, the clamps and the formed fuel hoses!

Looks like the tubing could still crimp inside that spring, unless the spring ID is really tight around the uncrimped tubing OD.

There's tubing available with the spring within the tubing wall. Pretty sure I found it on fleabay for a reasonable price.

I realize this thread is a year old but I just finished it front to back as I am undergoing the same basic procedure and I found it very complete and informative, thanks to Ken and everyone
