Banshee barrels

#1 Post by hondaror » Wed Nov 10, 2021 3:12 pm

Hey guys, Rory here.
I have not been on the forum for years. I’m finally starting to get my head ready to take on a few projects.
What I’m wondering, is anyone making conventional pipes to mount on an RZ with banshee barrels?

Hey Rory, Good to see you back at it.
There are a few builders in the UK that make them, You can also buy adapters to convert flange pipes to banshee, I think wicked motorsports in LA do them....

The Banshee spigots are the same as the TZ250/350.
You can use TZ pipes.
Swarbrick makes a couple of nice TZ kits. Talk to Byron at CMR Racing in Trenton, ON, he is a Swarbrick distributor

What's a "conventional pipe"
The TZ downtube is CONSIDERABLY larger than a stock RZ pipe... maybe not "conventional".
Roger at WickedATV makes a Banshee spigot pipe that bolts on to a RZ ... with a smaller downtube (I have a set and they don't fit very well. I ended up cutting and pasting them to get them under the bike more)(... and the welds are embarrassing. HIS not mine).

That guy from Patriot told me when I called him that he makes all of Wicked’s pipes, that would explain the welds

bummer, Wicked used to have a welder on site who was excellent. I guess he moved on.
