Rear brake master cylinder - alternatives

#1 Post by 350YPVS » Sun Jul 10, 2022 10:42 am

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with my project bike. My current rear master cylinder is toast and I've also lost the brake switch. I'd like to go to a more modern looking master with a pressure switch that is activated by the brake fluid. I'm also looking for one where the brake line exits the top of the master cylinder as opposed to the side. Would anyone know if there is a direct replacement or one where I might need to dremel out the holes slightly. Any info is appreciated. Details like make mode and year for the replacement help a lot!

Thx.

I used a FZR400 one.
The pushrod is s bit longer but can easily be shortened.
