Headlight lens options for US Spec RZ350?

The glass headlight lens on my 1984 RZ350 with the seat made on to the lens is fubared so that the spring will not stay seated. Both side tangs are broken off. Without it seating, the lens can not be stabilized. I ordered a new original glass lens from partzilla (expensive!) but received a follow up email from them that this part is on back order with no known ETA. Since there is no telling how long that might take to receive the part, I’m looking at lower cost alternatives that will bolt up in the stock HL bucket using both the chrome inner ring and larger outer ring. I’ve heard that the RD250LC/ RD350LC using the same size and look but I see that it uses 3 spring clips internally. Can anyone verify that the Elsie glass lens will work on a US Spec 84-5 RZ350? Are there any other glass lens bolt on alternatives/ options? Aftermarket is fine as long as it has a somewhat stock appearance. I can’t believe the prices of used RZ350 glass lenses on eBay!! $125-$350!! Thanks in advance for any and all help and suggestions!
