Good call on using Aviation gas for storage. Conventional Alcohol/Gas pump-fuel will attract water and water will settle to the bottom of the tank. On an RZ this is usually near the petcock area and causes rust-through in that spot. Even if you put oil in the gas to prevent rust, ethanol fuels will attract water and separate to the bottom of the gas/oil mix.

Or simply us Chevron 94 Fuel which is Ethanol free.
And add in a wee bit of oil premix style as cheapo insurance.
Oh wait ...you can do that for Normal everyday use,
So there is Nothing special required for storage.

Thanks for the tip! Next time I'm in Canada I'll stop in at a Chevron Station for some 94.
I did not realize this was a Canadian only thread or board. I'll be more mindful of making suggestions in the future.

I forgot to add in my previous post that I also add 1 ounce of 2 stroke oil to every 2 gallons of 90 octane non ethanol storage fuel and have had no issues since switching from 100 LL Avgas.
I love the smell of Blue Marble in the morning!
