Hey Busa, sorry to go off topic but where do you order parts for your VJ22 from? I need a rear axle, and can't find a dealer that has a microfiche for that model. Thanks, Bruce.

I buy from Megazip
They can get parts no one else seems to have...always have 10% off sales.

I was able to get a pair of 83mm TZ calipers for my TZR/SP last week.
They look very similar to the widely used 90mm calipers on many Suzuki GSXR models....but the 83mm are proverbial hens teeth.

They are the same calipers basically as the Triumphs. Nice score tho.

Yes, the back sides are the same, but the front is different with the TZ having Nissin, and the ones on the Triumph having Triumph cast in.
Also the TZ calipers usually have aluminum pistons and no dust seals.

Lol, well yeah, what i meant was this is the 'base caliper' the Triumphs came from and were made by Nissin etc.

Alloy pistons is interesting, I didnt know that gem. Good info. Makes sense the racing bike wouldnt have dust seals.

Whats been going on in the past year or two...

Took my Hayabusa to Bonneville...
Image

Finished building my RGV VJ21 SP 300....with 38 Lectron's originally
But now with 34 Mikuni's and stock airbox
Image
Image

Sold my long term VJ22 project
Image

Scratched my head for endless hours trying to get this RS250 figured out....
Image

Bought...then sold a 83 CB1100
Image

Put a pipe on my new RSV4 1100
Image

Put a Zeel ignition and a quick shifter on my RZ
Image
Image

Did some carb work on my Katana...
Image

Replaced a melted piston in my RZV...
Image
Image

Trying to figure out why my lower cylinder on the 3XV2 is not firing at idle, but will fire when the RPMs go up intermittently...?
Image

And did a little riding.....
