The reason for the shorter relay link is to get the correct ride height. With the FZ dog bones and the shock bolted up, the tire will be up in the fender. Maybe since you have the swingarm in it's more normal position, the shock hits. As you lift the swingarm, the shock should move away from the support.

You have to either shorten the RZ relay link and use the FZ dog bones or shorten the RZ dogbones.

you have to let me know when your cush comes in which one works ! I have the same bandit 600 rim waiting for transplant, but im waiting to find out which cush will work as it did not come with one.. do you have the offset sprocket in front? I have a 5/8 offset with the FZR 400 rim.

Yeah Im told I'll have to use an offset sprocket but I wont know for sure until I get the cush drive. When I get them I will let ya know which one fits.
