Hi Tom, This is an annual event. The dates can and do change though (best to check website or ask a member). I am not a member, but it would probably be a good idea to check out their website and 2StrokeWorld.com in the event section. <---where i got the heads up. I think the 12th year for the 2 stroke ride in general and the 10th anniversary of the Sang Froid Riding Club (SFRC). You can google them to find their website. It is a lot of fun and this year after the ride they ended up at the Sandy Hut in Portland, OR w/ live music. Definitely a fun event and they are good people. I think Jim (has a TDR250 and posted notice on 2strokeworld.com) ONLY put it up there to keep the crowd small and not overload that track. We had to share track time w/ the karts.rztom wrote:Wow... looks like it was an awesome event. Did I miss it or is this an annual event?
EDIT - guess I wasn't paying attention... thread title: Annual SFRC 2T Ride Pics
Is this held at the same time each year?
It was way cool for them to pay about 1/2 the cost of track time for the people that did show up for the ride.
if i wasn't so out of shape i could have had to (2) sessions of 15 minutes each for only 20 bucks. what a blast!
NOTE: Next year, I'll try to give the members here a heads up (ahead of time!!) on the next ride. They handed out free little bottles of valvoline two stroke oil w/ their own label of course! to anyone that wanted, had T-shirts for sale and their routes can be interesting! (maps are also handed out to everyone).
all manner of bikes are welcome...but i prefer strokers myself!!

I think the Yamaha with higher pipes and knobbies may be a Big Bear Scrambler 305? I'd guess 1967-69 vintage- someone please correct me if I'm off here...
