Awesome build. I was wondering where the pipes came from? Those are 'Wicked' pipes (pun intended). That pic has gone up on Wicked's website and many of our desktop. Keep it going....

Another thing about the RGV suspension, they most definitely need a rebuild before it plonked on. Check out the Andreani kit for the RGV front end, quite nice upgrade.

Thanks! Yes Roger told me I was his new poster-boy... er... I mean that in the most PC way, not dodgy... :smt003

Yeah re. the RGV front forks, I always assumed they would need something, but had hoped to get the bike built and then start on upgrades when i knew what it handled like, hence i i have a standard rear LC shock fitted etc.

The Adriani kit does look good, but im in two minds about doing the work myself or entrusting it to a local suspension guru... hmmm....

The RGV forks are just like any other USD forks to re build. The kit comes with everything that you need to rebuild the forks to new. You only need new fork seals apart from that. I will keep you posted on the ride feedback in a few months time but the rebound on the built forks seems to be spot on.

Sounds good, I need new seals anyway, but Ive been told only to use OEM and they are huge money, is there a Kawasaki that these forks were fitted to? Ive found Kawasaki parts are 1/3rd the price of Suzuki...

Fork seals are on their way, as are the carbs... shouldnt be too long and this bike will roar... LOL

In the meantime Petros supplied me with some small indicators and ive fitted them, just got to wait for the LED flasher unit to get here and they will run :smt001

Used some real NOS 80s fuel hose to neaten up the wiring from them at the front end...

That sticker on the carb bowl should also give warning to children, small birds n dogs, that they dont get too close for fear of getting SUCKED IN...... :smt005
Looking the serious buisness !
Jon have you thought about fitting those larger bowls for extra fuel?
The LC air box,is it totally out of the question due to volume or just not able to fit?
Been thinking about this, foam plugs cut n shaped to suit frame etc, some f/glass....ah la Ravedaddy lol....but can be done.

hahaha, love those stickers... tho i did have a MOT man in the uk once comment that the carb was not road worthy! wtf?! LOL

Im not sure it needs bigger bowls, these carbs were sized by Roger so they should be fine. What is cool is that with the Wicked manifold they easily clear the clutch mech, not something i can say of the PWK28s on the OEM units, its very very close... and these are much larger carbs of course.

The LC box is way too small for these i would think, plus i would have to cut it a lot and find some rubbers to fit, not easy...

LOL well a custom airbox would work, but if we can find some pods to fit then that should be simpler, it is a bit tight but its better than i thought if i am honest.
