RZ/RD 350 & Misc. 2-Stroke Tech BBS

As the title states I'm trying to source OEM style windscreen fasteners for my '84 RZ350 KR, I discovered they are no longer available from Yamaha. I searched various sites but came up empty until I found a kit from economy cycle, unfortunately they are 5mm not 4mm. Any info or leads would be appreciated. Thanks

The 86-90 hardware is still available from Yamaha. Those are plastic screws. Are the 84 screws plastic?

Hopefully Ron Ayers does have them but I've found they don't keep there fiche updated, order parts listed as available only to get an email later that they can't get them. Partzilla does a better job of keeping there fiche updated. I've read that you can tell by the part number the size of the screw but I'm unsure what number in the part number to use.

I'm guessing the 90157-04062 is 4mm and the 90150-05020 is 5mm?
Is that correct?

My screws are 4mm, the ones I got from economy cycle are 5mm. I was unaware of this until they arrived ay my door. I'm going to send out a few emails this week and see what I can find out.

Thought I might update my findings. My search for OEM screws proved fruitless. However I did discover that the 5mm screws from economy cycle fit with no drilling. May have been wise to check that before starting a thread on it... None the less the 5mm are a nice fit and also beefier than the tiny OEM screws that tend to either vibrate out or snap.

I was all set to buy a bunch, sell kits to those that needed them, but then I found my missing one when cleaning the bike lift. I hope it helps some others.
