Im tellin ya, the Spainards are wirking together..they want to place Rossi in 4th or 5th place. If they do, Rossis points lead could be cut to just a handful.
After 3 years of qualifying poorly, hes not gonna start any new trend with regularity. Lorenzo is the better rider, hes proven that. Rossis doing a great job for his age..but at almost 40..no one beats youth for too long.
Rossi needs some more help..rain rain. With any luck he will pull it off, and hopefully not be tied in points at the end of the season.

:smt003 Makes for a race worth watching. Weather looks nice. Marquez will win. Will Rossi finish ahead of Whoregay? Details at 11.

Hopefully Rossi has a trick up his sleeve with managing his tires for a race distance and Lorenzo hopefully we'll go out and cook them and Rossi may be able to run him down like he has 2 or 3 times this season. The main problem I see unless he gets a great start he has two hard charging crashers in front of him and a Ducati & two Hondas.
So 3 missiles and to accident waiting to happen to try and get through

Almost exactly as I thought it would go down the exception being the surprise 2nd place position. It's been so long since seeing a decent scrap in MotoGP, not even close to the best race ever, but certainly the best in a long time. We will take what we can get in Moto GP! Lorenzo has just two tracks left..& hes riding very fast.He looks poised to steal the title. The wrench in the gears for Rossi unquestionably was one of the missles..when unrestricted there brutally fast. The poor Qualifying has no doubt hurt his chances.

Well, that was a huge brain fart for Rossi. Don't know if there will be a penalty.
Looks like he will start from the back of the grid at Valencia. It sucks to have it come down to this.

Yeah he fucked up. I would not be surprised if he walked away from racing.

He was wrong. So was Marquez for literally leaning on him in several corners. It was unnecessary and I think less of him for it. I hate to see the championship affected by such events. Now the battles are over unless Whoregay crashes hard and Rossi has the ride of his career. Neither are likely.

BTW Dani rode a stellar race and shouldn't be overlooked in 2016. He seems to have taken care his arm pump issue and is riding the best I've seen him ride in years. Now if he'd just get off the fucking Honda...............

MotoGP ... OMG!

Well that was a shocker. Over the years Rossi has shown his dark side a few times but that one was a bit over the top.

I can't believe I almost called this exactly I totally believe the Spaniards were working together to " some degree"...absolutley, and so does Rossi. Lorenzo coming from behind being the smoother faster rider chipped away the points lead and now it's probably over for Rossi too bad would love to have seen him win the championship as far as the incident hell I don't know I've seen worse this was common way back in the day the Moto GP is a new game. Ain't nothing new with Rossi just ask Sete or Biaggi, Stoner or many others you tried to f*** with him. Marquez was trying everything in his typical uncontrolled squirrely fashion to get around and did place himself into precarious positions Rossi was watching him..like saying Okay kid, you put yourself in this position and now you got nowhere to go! whatcha gonna do kid ! oops you're out of track buddy..AWESOME exchange.

I see that the stewards had to penalize Rossi to avoid further escalation. Someone could end up dead and no one wants to see that.

Buuuttttttt...............Fuck Marquez dry for being such a self absorbed pile of shit. Believing you're the greatest is a necessary component of becoming the greatest. But believing your shit doesn't stink is no more than narcissistic douchebaggery. His toying with Rossi is obvious and no amount of denial will change the truth. And regardless of the eventual numbers he gathers he'll never be the greatest. Only the fastest which is many steps under The GOAT.

Please don't see this as defense of Rossi's loss of control. It was wrong and needed to be dealt with firmly for the aforementioned reason among others. And I've been (and still am) a fan of Rossi's since he showed me a 125 could do the coolest rolling burnouts.

One mans poor judgement in a heated battle..or something more fun and sinister involving evil members of Honda, The Spanish Gov & Spanish run Moto GP Org. The latter is much more fun. https://youtu.be/pNJoM8f5Xko" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It was a racing incident
Marquez should have been black flagged for running into Rossi which he clearly did.
Trex is close to describing how much of a fuckwhit Marquez is.
How dare he jeopardise Rossi,s chances at another Title . Holding him up was so wrong and a childish thing to do, then to try and hurt him by running into him was the worst I have seen him behave.
Marquez should be banned from competing in the next race he is clearly out of control and unsafe.
Good result Dannie and a great ride. And what about crutch low taking out the Ducati that was disgraceful.
Rossi will win again. He is not done yet.
