Lot of money for just a jack screw, and I wonder if it would have enough range to "safely" take out 4 inches?

Update: Rotated the lower heim joint half a turn out and the ride height is now exactly the same as stock.
The nice thing about using longer torque arms is that the R1 shock remains unmolested, No shortening, no welding, no losing all the adjustability, no hoping the heim joint will be safe hanging on less threads and depending on loctite. A much safer option.

Mk,
Thank you for finding this. I have one last unmolested R1 shock in stock and have ordered this to try out. Race Tech has never come up with any rebuilding of the shock so I am going to try this. My R1 stock shock on the 2016 R1 60th Ann worked very well. It was sold to a collector last year. And was not so much fun after I moved to Indiana in 2019. Wyoming and Utah had vast amounts of roads to really ride the R1. The RZ350 used to really shine here around Evansville IN with CBR600's and such. I now am having time to start to finish this great little bike. The different torque arms is a good idea too.
