Part Identification: 48h-83390-20-00 Audio Pilot Assembly

Can anyone identify what this part is. It shows up in Electrical 2 of the parts schematic for the 85 RZ350.

Never seen one... I would say its either an audible turn signal horn/buzzer or its for the emissions?

Bear in mind there are a few things in the parts books that you almost never see and some parts were never there in the first place like the collar on the clock/fairing brkt.

I didn't take the time to look, but is that the warning buzzer for the stock mufflers with catalytic converters!

Why do the pipes need a buzzer? overheating?

The devil in me thought it could perhaps play a better exhaust sound than those cat pipes would make ;)

If I remember correctly, when all the catalytic stuff is attached, it goes beep-beep shortly after the Powervalve cycles through. Otherwise it's a "dunsel."
