Buttonwillow on the Air-Cooled TZ

#1 Post by Smoker » Sat Sep 21, 2019 1:33 pm

Good video of Jeff Henise on the TZ about 3 weeks ago at Buttonwillow. Took a second in this race. Took 2 Firsts, a Second, and a Fourth Place, on the weekend.

Bonus footage from last weekend at Talledega. Short video. Ends abruptly. [smilie=ops.gif]

Jeff said that highside may have cost him the championship. Had a 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, and 3rd place - then got a Zero when he highsided. That was on the Kawi 175. The TZ also blew a cylinder on the same day. Bikes are still in Florida. He'll have to fix them before he races at Barber Vintage Festival next week.

Good luck, dude!

Just watched the video of the TZ. Haha, reminds me of first race start on my Honda RS125. Bwaaaaaaaawaaaaa, aaaaa, last 2mm of clutch, Bwhooor - what?, there's more?! Tall first gear.

His needle needs a clip adjustment or different taper.

He started in 3rd gear.

It's gotta be tough. He's a one-man show.
