Typical quality for most things from India. The tanks are the shite we always said they were.

A while back I bought a water pump bearing from Yambits. It showed up here with Made in India stamped on it. It went straight in the trash bin.

Be aware that some of the better bearing companies now also manufacture in both China and India. Youd have to believe that they would be overseeing the quality...

When Yamaha bearings come with an India stamp on them I may change my mind Jon. Until then I'm not willing to risk catastrophic failure by using cheap inferior parts.

I've seen those tanks on eBay and wondered...all the more reason to care for the tanks we have.

A lot of welding slag in those tanks. Is that due to a cheap wire feed welder?

Yeah, lots of fantastic photos in there!

For some reason, I can hear the audio about the India tank, but can't see the video. Sucks!! Really want to see it.

An Indian coworker was explaining the infrastructure and building scandal with stuff not built to code and lack of reinforcement steel in concrete etc. Some of them care not for life. Others are horrified. But how do you tell?

Easy to tell, its all over the forums... dont buy an Indian tank. If that changes the forum is the first place you'll find info that its the thing to do... :)

Many many stories about the poor fitment and shapes plus big issues getting refunds.

Our local 'Old Motorcycle Shop' was off about an ex-employee that sent one back using fedex express shortly before they quit which was near $1500 shipping fee.

Don't buy them!
