How come we haven't met before? The LC/RZ owning community in this town isn't very big.

Not been on the RD/RZ radar since about 2005/6 when I finished two RZ's and sold them, been playing with VTwin superbikes since then so not supersizing really. I go down to A&W occasionally just to see a few guys i know but its bee quiet down there this year for obvious reasons this year.

We haven't been to A&W in a couple of seasons now. It was cool when we could put 4 or 5 Yam 2-strokes together in the evening.

WOW. Cannot believe that bike is the one that sat in my basement for a decade. Looks great.

What pipes are those and where did you get them?

Hooligan: the pipes are off ebay.co.uk an I think I paid around $450 CND shipped. WARNING! these puppies do not bolt straight on and go, like the Micron/Allspeeds/Lomas pipes, even though their Lomas style. There is a significant mod's required if your running stock foot pegs, and side stand. This bike didn't have a new tab welded on to move the side stand forward so had to get creative there. and you will have to manufacture exhaust hangers too. Anyone whos interested I can help with dimensions...

The picture below is the prototype I changed some what then built nice and neat and tidy after.

Second picture is a Ducati 900ss side stand I grafted onto the stock mount to clear the new pipes........I may still tweak it yet though but its full adjustable and the ground clearance is still good.

Ogri, I think you and I need to meet. I have a full machine shop in my garage. Full size lathe and milling machine with full axis DRO's. I also know an expert welder-fabricator in town who can make anything ..... even if he isn't inexpensive.

The price on those pipes sure is right and they are pretty. Can you give me the link?

For anyone interested in this build, I can assure you that swingarm was hellishly expensive. :(
