So I fired my RZ up after a top end rebuild and a carb rebuild...starts and runs, albeit doughy but have air puffing out the exhaust which would indicate a misfire or the like. Checked the sparks on the plugs and must say they look very weak and the plugs are wet...as always I didn’t touch or go near the coil but these things can sometimes happen for no reason. The bike was fine before rebuild
I just want to triple check though, the breather line from the tank goes to the RH side carb yeah??

Silverstrom is correct. The breather just vents to atmosphere under the seat.

Pretty sure it goes there on RH side carb vent - one near choke balance pipe
Re: 83 RZ350 first startup
My RZs are 49-state models, so they don't have vent hoses, but the petcock vacuum hose certainly connects to the right side carb. And I'm just spitballing here, but how would connecting a vent to another vent work?
