Motor parts needed

#1 Post by Yamavarna » Sun May 22, 2022 8:22 pm

I decided to go a different way with my rz hybrid so I’m building a whole new motor and I need: transmission, shifter parts, side covers, oil pump, clutch and primary gears. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Where are you located? You need to edit your profile to note that. I also have some of what you need but shipping outside of US adds cost.

I have an original water pump cover in great condition with the foil installed on the inside. Purchased new and only installed then removed. Let me know if you need it.

I just bought another bike from a local collector named Dave, it’s in rough shape but is numbers matching so now; I think I have enough parts for my hybrid and a one stock restoration but I’m sure I will still need parts, so I will be reaching out to fellow forum members as soon as I inventory the parts

My good friend Dave offered it to me before it went to Kijiji. He's 30 minutes from me.I had planned to take it, but upon reflection realized that recent health changes and three pending projects (two being frame off restorations) meant it was more work than I need right now. Shame because I have everything here to finish it. It certainly is very red.

John, I’m not sure I can get it up to your standards but I will try and do it justice. I was just looking for motor parts for my hybrid and now I am headstrong into an oem reconstruction, my other bike (an 89) is not numbers matching but has a lot of the right parts for this resto and frees up parts for my hybrid motor build (and, Dave is still going to feed me some parts) so it still works. I’ll fix that very red thing also.

Also have some little bits and pieces remaining for piles of prior builds. Feel free to shoot over a list. evancgy@gmail.com if you want a timely response.
