Anyone interested ??

#1 Post by johnnyb99 » Mon Jul 10, 2006 9:57 am

I am putting my project up for sale. If anyone is interested please contact me at jbuanno@gmail.com. I can fill you in on all the details. I am asking 2000.00. I know i could probably rip it apart and ebay it but if someone is interested in it whole.....

1984 RZ350

1990 GSXR 750 front end, FZ600 swingarm FZR400 rear rim (no machining, i used the offset front sprocket) 1999 R1 bodywork ( also have the lower) FOX Twin CLicker shock rebuilt with new style gas reservoir, sprung for 175-180 lb. rider.

I put a cheetah cub cylinder on this spring. It has a wiseco long rod stroker crank @4mm with a 65 mm bore for 385 cc. It has no spacer, it uses a .060 base gasket. It has a stock banshee head cut .020, (I used VP C-12 and MAxima 927 @ 24:1 the one race weekend the motor has on it.) The cylinder was bought from Vito's, a banshee shop. I also fabricated a thermostat sytem from an FZR400. The carbs are Lectron 36/34 HI-VO in stock manifolds with TDR fiber reeds.

This engine NEEDS a custom set of pipes fabricated. The ones on it do not work for this engine, the powerband is way too narrow. It also needs a larger capacity radiator. I am being honest here, you will have to monkey with it a little but a lot of the work has been done. I also fabricated the rearsets from a 1990 GSXR 750. This is a racebike, to street it you would need a wiring harness, i chopped this one up. I have more pictures available.

Damn John ... I'm well on my way on rebuilding my 2nd RZ as far as parts are concerned so I have to pass. I put a post up in the For Sale section of USA2strokers for you as I would hate to see her get parted out.
