y-boot measurement

#1 Post by aviatori69 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 8:16 am

Can someone measure their y-boot front to rear for me? My RS350 project is coming along, but I finally test road it and it really doesn't do much when you really open the throttle. It almost acts like I installed the PV's backwards(which I will check after work today.I'm running a dynojet jet kit with pods. When I wack the throttle down low, it wants to jump forward and act like its really gonna move, but then its like anything above 5000 it slowly gains rpm. If I hold the throttle steady or give it gas real slow it will build rpm, but has no powerband. I have a 420 in now, and moved the clip 4 from the bottom, 1 1/2 turns out. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I want to get rid of the pods but don't know if I have room, so I may have to deal with these pods. It's pretty tight in there.
