hi etienne.
jaaa.. maybe they will touch the ground... but I´ll have to see before I start thinking about what to do.
Anyway.
It´s ready to role... tomorrow and wesdnesday it´s track time.
I would like to send a huge thanks to all in this forum that have helped me through this endeavour. I feel like the meaning behind forums such as this one really came to the surface. People helping other people overcoming motorbike related dificulties.

That might be a bit dificult at the time.
The machine had engine problems.
When a professional builds something that is not std. from the start, then the probability for it to run flowless is quite big.
Amateurs is a bit different... probability for at something goes wrong is quite big, so things should be taken easy at the start.
Part the circunstances, and also me not keeping a better eye on the instruments (wich anyway is hard at 170km/h with 2 race trimed 600s on each side) ment that the engine ended up seizing.
I´ll start rebuild as soon as possible. Hope the damage isn´t very much.

Still haven´t touched the bike.
The symptoms after engine failure are kind of hard to interpret for me, so I'm reluctant about making hypothetical diagnoses. Guess I'll just take it as it comes.
The one scenario I'm kind of expecting is a "run-in" type seizure. Ring gap was set to yamaha book spec, and that with only 3X 10minutes heat cycles, and full bananas afterwards... might be tight, especially if jetting was a bit on the lean side... just a non educated guess, might just as well be anything else as there are a couple of things more bothering me a bit.
@aaron: me one myself. I just ment that a pro is likelly to have the baggage and knowledge, to make decisions and judgements that are essencial when building non std. stuff, where there is no manual to tell, this tolerence is this, or this bit more static compression will want this less timing advance etc, etc...

I´m keen on getting to the bottom of this, to prevent it happening again.
