Had red bike on the dyno Saturday and got 67.91bhp but I would call it 68bhp :smt002

Gains mainly from TSA Kennys pipes but also fitted KR1S needles,31K cdi and zeeltronic powervalve controller

Just dug out the powervalve settings and what do others run ?

Was told I could fatten up the 5000 to 7000rpm range,so what do folks run here ?

I have to date

1500rpm 100%
2000rpm 0%
5500rpm 10%
6400rpm 30%
6500rpm 40%
7500rpm 69%
8300rpm 100%

On this thread, Kenny suggesting having the PV's fully open, at 200 rpm before peak power.

http://www.rzrd500.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... it=200+rpm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

On this thread, Slinger suggested the following PV setttings.
6000 rpm = 0%
9000 rpm = 100%

http://www.rzrd500.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... PV+setting" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have been running Slingers curve on my bike, and it works OK.
Sadly, I haven't bothered to play with the Zeel, and try any other curves.

I was so chuffed with the result that I declined any more adjusting of the zeel PV box and was losing my nerve watching the poor bike spin up on the dyno,sounded great though LOL.

But what do people make of doing a run with the valves shut then one at 50% open then one at fully open and see the 3 results placed over each other on a chart ?

RGV 'nana.... Sadly, very little is plug n play on our bikes... this will need plates and engineering work to do. Check out NK engineering for the parts. I have the other (braced) RGV arm in my LC, see my site (http://www.2smoked.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) for details on fitting if youre keen on how this stuff works. Its not exactly the same as this one, but the fitting is similar enough to be useful reading.

Here is a later pic of Martin's bike from earlier in the thread....

It's gonna be a loud bike !!!
I'm starting to worry about myself... :smt017 I used to hate gold wheels, I went through a time with a set on my blue Scooby (WRX for Aussies) but it was the time when the rally cars were rocking em, so I had an excuse... But since I saw Aarons in the metal and these wheels in the above pic Ive been tempted to do the same with my next bike... the louder and more gold the better.... hmm, should I see a doc, or is it just my age? :smt001
