This is today and Microsquirt Autotune is starting to lean the engine out in the right places

Sorry i have nothing to compare it to or even get a base map from so taking a bit of time but getting there ----Current Moto3 tech i think will not be even close the the HP this is putting out after i get it onto the dyno

I'm the last person that should be explaining anything technical. :smt003

My understanding is the plug fires every 2 strokes, instead of every 4 strokes.

The cams have double lobes to open/close the valves every 2 strokes, instead of every 4 strokes.

My pea-sized brain thinks the same engine should make close to double the HP.

The big question is why wouldn't the factories have done this long ago?

Smoker you are bang on !!! Thank you for under standing what you are seeing
I am so many yrs building two strokes and so many building 4 and educated in many cnc and robotic controls so i think differenly not in paradimes (I just have to think differenlty to make stuff work dailey )
At best should be double the HP but even if it was just a 30 to 50 percent inprovement would be massive ---Makes a single sound like a twin and a 4 sound lke an 8 as the pulze is twice
In real terms it takes out the waste of the four strokes and conbined them into one rotation in 3 areas of control
Its not been easy and can it be improved more hell yes as GDI would remove fuel in a throttle body so if i had one of the big four backing what i could produce would be was easier
I have done so many experiments and not easy from your own garage
The Single engine alone was very well balanced so with it firing everytime very smothe and little vibration and the exhaust pluze amazing to be honest
Hopefully it will suceed and we get lots more enignes this way or just another time i have tried --But at least its running now and even learn alot about the Microsquirt ECU stuff which was good -------Again thank you and so many for comments and interest along the way

Any info on ulsterman???

Once again, I should have posted sooner. Thought about him and his projects many times.

Haven't seen posting from him since around May of 2022.
