Yes, we were a team of three riders.
A friend from the twostroke scene (he has a CR 250 Supermoto) and a girl from the Supermoto scene who lives nearby (she races in an amateur Supermoto series).
Unfortunately my friend was on a pitbike for pretty much the first time. He threw it away two times in training and later missed some 10-12 s latime compared to the rest of the bunch.
That was kind of unexpected. At the last twostroke meeting he was almost on my RD level with his CR.
We other two weren't too bad. The top team raced at some 31.x s and we had a 33.2 s as best lap which was comparable to the majority of the teams.
During the race the track became more and more slippery as the bikes collected the kart tire rubber from the ground. In addition ground temperature was only 5 deg C which brought us one crash during the race.
The good news : nothing broke, so we could continue racing.
The other teams crashed on a regular base and some even left their bikes disfunctional, so we ended up as 4'th in the 155cc class and 5'th overall. I'm satisfied with that result regarding that we lost around 30-40 laps due to our weak rider.
The next race is on January 12'th, but that's too soon for me. I need to repair the broken brake fluid reservoir and get some better tires.
The winning team ran Mitas MC 35 Supersoft and they were visibly better than the Bridgestone 601SS that I had.
The plan is to go there around once a month and thus my next ride will be on January 25'th.
