Great looking bike and wonderful to see another 500 rise from the dead! Hopefully I can get my together this winter.
Congratulations!

Love the way the faring mods make it fit the engine so well. Of course, I am biased because I own a set. Congrats Paul, she is lovely!

Re: RZV500R / YZR500 OWD1 Project
Thanks for the kind words everyone - it’s amazing how much attention the bike attracts - on my last Trackday at Donington it was the only classic bike, the only two stroke and the smallest capacity bike - so it was certainly different to anything else there - the handling and braking were astonishing compared to the original bike - 100bhp and 150kg dry weight give really good performance although it can’t compete with a modern superbike - the power is very dynamic and very addictive - fantastic fun
Cheers

Your bike just looks great.
Too bad you are such a big fella, the power to weight ratio really suffers! I will console myself by knowing that although I won't be getting my bikes weight as low as yours, or the hp as high, I'm a much smaller person so it still moves ok.

The weight loss and power increase over the original bike still helps ( That's my excuse out of the way )lost1750GTV wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 9:18 am Your bike just looks great.
