Hi everyone, first post here but finally doing something with a 500 I’ve had for a bit but had too many other projects ahead of it. Here is my problem: I removed the ignition cylinder to have a new key made and accidentally included it in a batch of assorted RZ350 parts I sold, not my most brilliant move ever. This leaves me with not just needing a new ignition but keys for the other locks. If anyone had a spare full set I would love to buy them but think my odds of that are quite low so wondering if anyone knows if there is another model that shared the same ignition, fuel cap and seat lock? The helmet lock is the least of my worries but if that’s the same too then great.
It’s a little sad now but we can make it happy again.

I can't help with the ignition key but man, what a beautiful bike. That red/black is just great. Good luck.

I think that there is one other bike that used this fuel cap. Search this site for fuel caps. The upper half of the ignition is the same for all bikes from this year. The bottom half shares the same wires as a RZ350. Most other models had different wiring but you can swap the bottom half with the one you have.

As has been said, most yams of the era (+/- 5 years at least) use the same ignition top part (the bit with the key/barrel). Just match the others to that later.
It would be better if you can remember what key shape you had originally, the number starts with a letter. Try and get the same letter and you can rekey the other locks to that key after. its simple to do, just fiddly.
