Good news, got the info that they are finished.
Until I asked if the threads for the 4 rubber feet are in...

I have to wait again until they are made.

There was another misunderstanding, the pipes are closed with welded steel caps instead of plastic end caps.
A lot of unnecessary work but ok... They will stay as they are.

Quality looks fine

Finally I got them and at least the first one is ok.
I will check them all tomorrow and make them ready for shipping.

Everyone on the list should get PM tomorrow with details, if not please let me know.

Everyone on the list should have a PM.
From today`s point of view all stands have already a new owner.

If one gets available again I will post it here.

They look lovely, well done!

If one does become available I am interested so long as surface shipping Australia isnt crazy money.

It would be a luxury to have a stand like this for the 500, but the one I made for my 250/350 engines has been very useful.

For all who have already made the payment - sorry for shipping delay.
I`m jumping from appointment to appointment this week and probably also next week.
They will be ready for shipping this weekend and on monday I will bring them to the post office before lunch.

@JonW: Shipping to Australia 40,73€ (insured up to 100€) or 66,48€ (insured up to 510€)
I`m not really sure if the shipping costs count to the 100€ or not...

Thanks for the feedback.
Seems that there is one stand left without a new owner.

@JonW: the cheap shipping option is not available at the moment. 66,48€ is the only way to get it to Australia...

Micheal: Received it today and I have to say I am impressed! I guess it's easier to say it in pictures.

It was easy to put together based on the pictures in this thread, I was like, where are the instructions???? LOL.

And it's STAINLESS STEEL, went back and read the thread. Nice.

Image

These little brackets are awesome, the bottom hole that has the bolt through it has an elongated hole so you can move it up/down to get it lined up with the engine. Great detail.

Image

My engine has been sad sitting on the garage floor for some time.

Image

You set the engine on the stand and the trick is to get the ass end sitting up on the rubber stoppers. Once it's on the rubber stoppers you can get the top bolt in with one hand while aligning it with the other. Easy. In this picture I had not put it up on the rubber stops yet.

Image

Image

Now it's in place, just had to move the bracket a bit to get everything lined up, this is why the elongated hole is important.

Image

Now all I have to do is finish my son's B5S4 build and then get to the RZ motor. Have all the parts (or so I think) for the rebuild. My son is coming to town so we can build the top end this weekend.

Only just seen this, thanks for finding out for me :)

Yes I did think the 44 sounded great value, should have realised it was the pre-covid 'when flights were plentiful' price. I guess we will get the cheap postage products back when flights resume, but maybe they are gone forever.

Anyway, if one does become spare, do let me know :)

EDITED: Ive had to pass on this for now so if anyone wants one they should jump in quickly.
