The triangle cutout in the chain adjuster under the triangle cutout in the axle block is pure custom magic.

Hasn't been that long since the CNC axle blocks were cut, but I wasn't getting responses to my PMs sent to the builder (for over a month). Plus, he hasn't been posting much online lately.

Keep in mind, he's got my pristine R6 arm modified by RGVSteve, the CNC axle blocks, the aluminum tubing I paid for, the NOS NLA 500 swingarm parts, and some one-off titanium pieces. Of course, he's on the East coast, and I'm on the West coast, 3000 miles away.

Already learned my lessons about flying off the handle. Been keeping my cool, and my trust in the builder. Spouting off almost always makes things worse.

Finally talked it out last night on the phone. There's a custom RC30 taking up the space where the swingarm jig will go. He said, probably another 3 weeks to get the RC30 outta there.

Man, I feel so much better. This was bugging me more than anything else.

Not done, yet!! :smt023

Surprise gift arrived from the Netherlands.

Nice RZ500 kickstarter knuckle. No longer available from Yamaha.

Thanks, Jan!

haha I'll probably need one of those by the time I get my hard starting fuel leaking doesn't rev high under load issues sorted out.

bright spots, it sounds really good revving while parked, and mid range acceleration is keeping me interested enough to continue.

Heya, Pete. Who was the original manufacturer the gold adjusters.
Reason I ask, is I have a set if rearsets I haven't been able to identify on my GSXR with the same imprinted logo.. I have some ground down footpegs I'd like to replace someday. Might give me a chance to make some inquiries.

Hey, bro. :smt006

That's the logo of Gilles Tooling.

All the GT parts I've seen are very high quality.
