Thanks for this info, I hadn't realize that. It works for most common bolts!gpaddict wrote:Its generally in the Yamaha part number code.

Part list with bolt size and info
Has anyone made note of the bolt size in their RZ350 part list ?
I'd like to the part list with the bolt information added, diameter, thread and length (and maybe class and finish).
Let me know if you know of something like that.
Thanks

Re: RZ350 Super Motard
Everytime I look at your work, I can't believe the quality, level of details and dedication you put on your project(s). It is just awesome, I wish I could approach that one day. Can't wait to see the assembly.

Re: Slingers new un
I was a TZR 125 road bike, I stamped my old race bike frame number on it :smt003 just in case customs went digging. I clean forgot about that lol OK! Mmm, I have a TZR125 Belgarda frame (with papers) doing nothing in my basement (with TZR250 swingarm), but with all the mods done on the "new un...

Re: Slingers new un
Sorry bud I can't help at all, the frame I got from a guy for doing some work, and when I shipped it to Canada it came over as "not to be used on the road" so didn't require papers just DNR wanted to see if there was any mud on it lol. No prob, thanks for the info. I just realized that th...

Ohoh, just realized that the frame is not from a TZR250 but from a TZ250... that will be much more complicated to put on the road. Surprise, surprise...

Hi Glyn, I am trying to register the bike under my name and hopefully circulate on the road after an inspection (currently working on the roadworthiness), not easy, would you have any paper/registration/importation, anything that could help? Many thanks.

Re: CAN 1983 RZ350
I am looking for M10 X 1.25 socket heat bolts in stainless steel of various lengths. Anyone know where I can order those?
The standard at every store is M10 1.50... the RZ350 uses fine tread for the M10.
Thanks for advices.

Re: CAN 1983 RZ350
I am curious too about the OEM finish even if I am not going that route. From the steps I described, to me the one that looks the closest to OEM finish is the one with 2000 grit (by memory). The 2000 grit was not my final step as I go for a full polished surface, kind of mirror finish (for this part...

Re: CAN 1983 RZ350
These part are different. I have a 1983 RZ350. The thing is that you can get a dull/low polish surface by sanding to high grit or by polishing a rough surface (bead blast). For my RZ350, I am sanding with high grit, then polishing, so I will have a nice mirror surface. I am not looking to obtain the...

Re: CAN 1983 RZ350
By memory and by looking at pictures on the web, the aluminum on these part (peg holder and front forks) are originally quite dull under the clear coat/lacquer.
