Re: 85 USA RZ Engine Rebuild

I didn't know anyone would run radials on these old bikes with their skinny rims. I guess if you can get them narrow enough so the sidewall angle doesn't get funky the radials could be a big improvement. Still $400 for just the tires is pretty unbelievable. Unless you mean tires, drive in drive out ...

Re: 85 USA RZ Engine Rebuild

400 bucks for two bias ply tires? I'd get the Bridgestone's. I always like the BT-45, had them on my RD.

I can't live with the 18" on my FZR400! It's parked up. Maybe a guy could with RZ due to using bias ply instead of radials.

That's super helpful. Thank you.

Is that 11.25 hole center to hole center? I can't really tell where your measurement starts.

$100-$200.

I've purchased replica GSXR fairing brackets on ebay for $50. I think the RZ part is a little more intricate.

RZ350 fairing parts

I'm now in search of an upper fairing bracket, bird cage, for my new 1984 RZ project. Let me know what you have. I'm sure I'll have more needs too once the bike is disassembled. Thanks.

I would also be interested in any links to new reproduction parts.
