Thanks, you lose a fair bit of clearance with them but shearers make amazing power and rev to the moon.

Front headlight and front signals are all that’s left to do Before I can take it for a ride and start getting the jetting dialled in a bit more.
I wish there was a local shop with a dyno to have it tuned. I’d also love to see some hp numbers.
I think I’d be around or close to 70hp with this set up.


I’m going to start building my spare engine soon, so if anything happens to this one I can just do a quick engine swap and keep riding.

Got out for the first ride since the full rebuild. Running good. Those shearers let it rev to the moon. Screams up to 12.5k rpm

It’s an rz350 of coarse it has a couple issues lol. That’s half the fun with these bikes, gotta love wrenching as much as riding.

Put maybe 25km on it yesterday. Running good, took it up to WOT a couple times. Handled well on the top end and the new yss shock is a huge improvement over the stocker. Also love the way the Tarozzi rearset feel over my other one off rearsets.

All in all it was a good little first ride after a full frame up build.
Passed a cop without a headlight or licence plate in it and luckily he didn’t see me haha.
