Jaybuilt, thanks for taking the time to tell the story, I enjoyed It, Let's hear some more. Also, to anyone else who has a story, maybe we should start a thread in Yammer howling and write them down.

Na, a Yammer howling thread will disappear if it hasn't been posted to after a certain amount of time. That section has an auto prune set on it. :(

It's looking great. Little things like rerouting the (oil pump?) cable and removing that heat shielding make a big difference.

If you want to do some more work, I could give you some ideas. :smt003

please jay more on erv kanamoto & the john britten(RIP) story would be great, its realy good of you to share this kind of stuff as bud asklund & erv kamamoto is the reason i got involved in building my rz for club level racing & i lived the dream for a little while when i was young enough to have no fear other than the fear of destroying my bike during practice & not make the race.
i never had a spare bike like the factory racers all have so preservation was all important with two dozen rz,s & a half dozen nsr 400,s to do battle with.
i never was a fan of the mean green tripples because of the lack of lean angle but it seems youve taken care of that issue.
so please keep the stories comming, its making me want to keep my bikes & run for the checkers again.
thanks for keeping my dreams alive
