It's still here, but resting. Except for a start up once in a while, it mostly looks like this these days.



The long version. Out here registration for the bikes is $144 annually per unit and going up. Even the RZ350's. Plus insurance on the R1 is expensive. It doesn't fit on my classic MC insurance plan (yet) which is $350 year for 5 MC's, full coverage, agreed value, etc. So for a bike that is an absolute thrill to ride I have to consider if I reg and insure and ride it say 4 times a year, the cost not considering fuel, is approximately $100 to $150 per ride. So it is non-op at the moment. Unfortunate but it's the price we pay to live in this beautiful but nut job state. We've been considering moving...somewhere???

Thats a shame Ken, Massive turnout, we had a tough time to even get parking for the night with the trailer... We had a blast, None of the kiddos made it to the top, They tried hard enough though :)
I had zero cell reception there, not a trace, found a WiFi spot right down the opposite end of the park early Sunday morning,

Mines and SAV today. The Isle of Mines requires extreme caution. There is lots of gravel and other stuff going on. Please be very careful out there. I'll try to get a video edited. Maybe.

Tour De Bay 17 Photos and Videos

Thanks to the folks that put this on. Not really knowing WTF it was about I participated up to 84 and Pleasanton Sunol Road. Next year I'll bring a more comfortable ride and do the whole thing. It's a massive humongous thing which makes it quite interesting. Had a great time during the time I was in.
