RZ250R 1GA Decals

#1 Post by NicB » Tue Mar 16, 2021 8:59 am

Hello all, getting ready to purchase replacement decals for my RZ250R 1GA Australian model, looking for some recommendations on where to purchase from, the two stores i have found are RDDECALS (from their web site) and Classic Reproduction decals from eBay based in UK, i was looking at RDDecals however they have just had a massive price hike and are now about $150.00 AUD more expensive than the UK version. Has anyone had experience with either product or supplier and have any recommendations? Cheers Nic

Ive used both for decals Nic and Ive had no probs with either one, I used Classic Reproduction decals for a Turbo750 build and a RG500 skoal build and bother were spot on, RdDecals on a bunch of LCs and RZ350s and they were perfect, Cant go wrong with either one..

I used Classics on my RZ350R

They also changed the UK RD350 to the Aus RZ350R for the mid panel

The only issue my painter found was that the vinyl was “painted” as opposed to being a coloured vinyl

The painted coating came off when he was wiping the panel down with prepsol

Massive price hike? Things look to be about 10% higher than last I used them? 200 bucks for good repro decals is just not expensive. If you're buying generic random decals then ya, its pricy for vinyl but I'm not sure how you get to +$150 unless the other ones are 50 bucks?
