Hi,

were they any good (ie. worth hunting out) ? I've got a really nice stainless Harris rear stand for mine.

Ta.

hi mate. i find them easy to use. there is one you use to lift the bike( slots into the frame near the swing arm pivot on the right hand side) and the other is a actual stand that supports the front or the rear. it has a thin rod that runs through the hole in each axle. my bike lives in the lounge room and its neater than the usual race stand with no bits hanging out for me to trip over. when i figure how to post photos i will. rob.

The back stand is quite common. But the front stand to look for is the one which fits under the fairing and hooks into the bottom of the steering neck. This lifts the bike so you can remove the forks and complete front end.

Hi,

years ago now, but I bought a front stand that picked up with a rod up the center of the steering stem and lifted the front wheel of my CB1100R clear of the ground. That came from Harris too, and they also sold me a different center rod to go up the stem on another Honda I have.

If you get stuck, they might still do them.
