I went through this a couple years ago. Tried everything. My engine is fully ported etc. turns out the head was machined for race gas. Reprofiled the head and 1mm clearance and haven’t had a prob since.

Thats a shame Ken, Massive turnout, we had a tough time to even get parking for the night with the trailer... We had a blast, None of the kiddos made it to the top, They tried hard enough though :) I had zero cell reception there, not a trace, found a WiFi spot right down the opposite end of the par...

I used a banshee basket on both my LCs when they got rebuilt. No problems there.

Sounds like the exhaust gasket has failed, Pretty common, Pull the exhaust off and replace them,
