Just a preliminary drawing to figure out what I want.

Shape looks good. Should be centered left-to-right and front-to-back, over the new upper triple.

Got most of the crashed parts replaced. Still need a few things, but good enough to ride.

Been riding a bit lately.
Had to ride to the hospital today to avoid getting trapped in the wandering hoards of protesters.
The bike is amazing.

I love a nice rack! :smt023

Drilled some holes to bolt a rack to the subframe, but these spacers aren't going to give the rack the height and angle that I want.

Should have some aluminum tubing arriving tomorrow.

Got the tubing and cut some spacers. Still need polishing.

Ordered some bolts I can cut to fit. Should arrive in 2 days.

Rack will pretty much look like this. Just the right size for a 6-pack of ale, or some mexican food. :smt023

Found this pic I downloaded a few months ago.

Just realized they might look great on this bike. No idea where the pic came from, or who sells them.

Just wanted to post this pic, so I don't forget to check out these blinkers.

No problem. 26,000+ results :smt013

I'm learning to accept some of the cheap crap.

If the cheap crap looks best, I'll just buy 5 of each and expect to replace them often.

Bunch of bungies, cargo nets, & tie-downs to make the new rack functional.

Well, I feel bad. This beauty has hardly been ridden lately.

Charged up the battery to fire it up. Battery was definetly on it's last legs. Exhaust smells like old gas.

Took the plunge and got a LiFePO4 battery. It wasn't the crazy price that kept me from buying one in the past- it was the fire risk. Read plenty about these batteries catching fire, or exploding.

Well, I'll be very sorry if there's a fire, but for now, I'm EXTREMELY happy. The battery is so light, it feels like an empty plastic battery case. Looks great, too.

Didn't get a finished pic last night, but will get one, soon. Woke up early this morning to go for a ride before the temperature goes over 100F. Gotta start burning up that old gas!

Also cleaned all the terminals with Scotchbrite. :smt003
